Weather Update for Kingsville ISD

Weather Alert Update as of 04/15/15 at 10:55 p.m.

All Kingsville ISD Campuses will resume normal start times for Thursday, April 16, 2015. Due to the severe weather alerts, the following early release schedule will be implemented.

Elementary Campuses and Gillett Intermediate will release at 11 a.m.

Memorial Middle School and H.M. King High School will release at 12:00 p.m.

As updated weather alerts are received, we will continue to notify all parents by local news channels, call out to parents, district website and social media as early as possible.

We will provide updated information for Friday, April 17th as soon as it becomes available.

The National Weather Center of Corpus Christi, Texas is reporting information about the possibility of enhanced severe weather for Thursday and Friday. Severe Weather may include: large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and possible tornadoes.

Therefore, there is a possibility that all KISD campuses may have to delay start times or cancel classes for tomorrow, Thursday, April 16. Please stay tuned to local news channels, our district website and social media outlets for information on possible delayed start times or possible school closures for tomorrow, April 16th.

As soon as updated weather alerts are received, we will notify all parents by local news channels, call out to parents, district website and social media as early as possible.
