My name is Cynthia Morales Garcia.  I am the counsleor at N.M. Harrel Elementary School.  I have worked with the district for 29 years, 4 years as a Middle School Math teacher and 25 years as a counselor.  I graduated from TAMUK with a Bachelors and Masters.  I have been married for almost 32 years with 4 children.  I have 3 boys and a daughter.  My children range in age from 30 - 11 years old.  We live on a ranch and enjoy the country life. When I am not working, I am extremely busy with my children's hobbies and extra curricular activities. They include competing in rodeos, travel volleyball team, and staying home with the family for outdoor activites on the ranch.

 

I provide lessons about character education, bullying prevention, responsible choices, and career awareness.  I assist with testing on the campus including the STAAR, KISD Benchmarks, and G.T. testing.  I am available for individual and small group counseling sessions.  I can also refer families for outside resources as needed.
