The goal of the Department of Instructional Services is to provide services in regard to teaching and learning through curriculum and assessment development, instructional delivery, and specialized programs that meet the specific needs of students.

The Department of Instructional Services provides instructional leadership and support for Prek-12th grade in the areas of advanced academics, curriculum, instruction and assessment.

The Department is responsible for State and Local assessments, Section 504 services, Dyslexia, and Multi-Media Services, as well as extra academic curricular activities such as UIL, Science Fair and other student services.
