Welcome to my page. Here is a little bit of information that you might not have known about me. I am originally from Kingsville and I would not change anything about being from here. I attended grade school, middle school, H.M. King High School and Texas A&M University-Kingsville all in my hometown. I enjoy coming to work everyday and seeing my students smiling faces and helping them learn more and more each day. I have been teaching Special Education for 4 years and I have worked as a Teacher Assistant for Special Education for 5 years. I have worked in the Self Contained setting, the Behavior Unit setting, and I have been blessed to work with regular education students, too. I am also the student sponsor for Student Council here at Harvey Elementary and this year I have taken charge of UIL Ready Writing for 3rd and 4th grade students. An interesting tid bit you might not have known about me is that after high school I had the opportunity to visit Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia (if I could I would love to go back and visit). In my spare time I enjoy writing, drawing, babysitting my niece and nephew and spending time with my family and friends. Everyday is a blessing and you only live life once!
