Welcome to J. S. Gillett Intermediate School, and to my 5th grade math/science/social studies classroom.  I look forward to a fantastic, fun-filled year!  My name is Mrs. R. Adame, and I will be your child’s fifth grade math teacher for the 2018–2019 school year.  I graduated from Texas A & M University Kingsville where I received a Bachelor’s Degree.  This will be my  24th year of teaching.  Most of my teaching experience has been in fifth grade (mainly math), but I have also taught Pre-K 3, kindergarten, and sixth grade.

I believe that parent-teacher communication plays a key role in your child’s academic success.  Please feel free to contact me when you have any questions and/or concerns regarding the education of your child.  Let’s make it a memorable year of learning!
