it's employer since like HMK Today Show dad back in 2010 but now we're back in all new could you be with stops yourself from graduating at the movies Ramos H&K today Starts Now hello and welcome to our first edition of HMK today for the 2014 year here since the Airing of our HMK Today Show for those of you who don't know about the show we take a look at what we will feature every two weeks lights camera action those sounds can be heard here in vp9 where HMK today is created in a classroom is where students can edit all of their videos and audio they've recorded in the back of the classroom is our studio with the real magic is made it's where we deliver the news at the news desk bring the weather and have the occasional sit-down interview in the recording video and audio from the studio cameras is recorded any additional video from the portable cameras can also be edited here to find out more about the show we talked to Miss the creator of HMK today is the new show that we created several years ago for students to take part and video production as well as the to get to go to school today student of hm King to find out what they think of the new HMK Today Show it's very beneficial to the students it's it's good for the school it's by the school it's it's something that I can trust October 3rd marks the end of the first six weeks and since and teachers alike are rushing to turn in grades we spoke to the dean in success mr. **** and ask for his sake of how things are going considering all the different items at hm King High School The Early College we have changed the bell schedule considering everything new teachers I think it's gone very well we've had our challenges but every year you have your Chow and I have no doubt that with our wonderful students our staff we're going to overcome those challenges and will be better for it in the future for the phrase what you miss matters well not only is that true but it could also determine whether you graduate or not in order to receive credit for your classes you speed attendance 90% of the time if you're trying to class you'll receive less attention if you don't go or you skip class still get ISS also make sure that your interests that means no sweat pants yoga pants excessive piercings or overly distracting hairstyles and other things not appropriate for school if you have any questions you can refer to the student handbook what's which can be found on the casting website or ask if faculty member notifying you that you are not permitted to park in that area again if so listen up according to administrators the designated areas for students of pockets in the back of the campus Define of the school is designated for visitors and faculty only when construction concludes more space will be made available for student parking if reprimanded more than once your vehicle the expense this year marks the first year hm King is considered an early college campus as an early college high school in King has a lot to offer and who else to get you ad for your high school career than your very own dean of Student Success mr. **** we have 182 - 185 students either taking their music or art appreciation and the my cougar course that's for this year as our students taken pass a TSI assessment that's the Texas success initiative it's the test that allow as you could get into college we will be able to open up more Avenues cuz this group in their sophomore year will be taking the college level computer course it's called bam at the high school level the name Escape make the college level no knock out their College speech and we're starting to look at their college Spanish  standards of all the are you to be eligible for the classes fortunately Coastal Bend College has been very cooperative and has allows certain classes to be available if certain TSI test have been passed that means according to mr.
