supported us with the Education Foundation the Education Foundation was found it through a Title 1 tips Grant the high school is money partners with us in making sure that our my flight today with the mini partners in excellence because you are and the Education Foundation is composed of community members that just give up themselves because they want to make sure that the learning in the classroom it's based on 21st century learning skills that we get Fun Loom  able to implement projects that are relevant to Children's slide how to extend a warm welcome and thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to be here early in the training with us and going back to the Education Foundation we are so grateful that our teachers were able to receive funding otherwise it would not have to be able to provide relevant learning experiences for students and I know window is here and she is Education Foundation board and one of the things that they did last year was they need a tremendous fundraiser and Community came out to support if we have a casino night with system Angel and was able to help would that we had auction and I believe this is window we raised about $35,000 in the 40 they should have set aside $25,000 and those $25,000 will be going directly into classrooms about 15,000 for competitive grants with our teachers and the other 10,000 to support the dual enrollment Early College High School initiative with textbooks those of you that have children in college in Ohio what did textbooks are so we are just so grateful because this people gave up their time and then called on you the community members to park face options and the different activity so we couldn't have done it without you if possible symbionts are the children spend a lot of money out of the process our parents also make donations but this work projects that they had been wanting to do the longest time published children's literature poetry and different kinds of things and with that funding that was provided last year I have two products to show Ed for a child to have their poetry published and for everybody else to read that giddy as a career for that so it makes a huge difference  you are a partners in excellence we want to percent the state of the district so but at the same time this year the theme for the school year is celebrating the possibilities where we've been and where we are now and how the sky is the limit based on statement and vision statement that many of you contribute it so that today we are aligned to our mission placement is what we found what we were celebrating the possibility of even since last year's every time we meet at the staff at the campuses we always take stock of even those small victories even a child turning in an assignment that had a child never been able to do that but if the help up tutorials and everything else the programs that have been available are struggling student stepping up to the plate and that was not seen before  I wish had to be revised slashgear and the task that was given to me and the time that he and I sisters who pretend it was work with committee because the mission statement that of Community Partnerships because we get the call from the University from the Naval base from the city from the different community members how can we help and we told our campuses and we said give us a list of all those people that are making a difference sing contributing to the success of our campuses and guess what so many commonalities and when they sent that to us that's what we were able children are also recovering credit and the Linda Sanchez our PR specialist has packets of information that you can take back to your staff and promote our mentoring program and we believe that we are a system thinking we are here to provide a service delivery model primarily to our student  family where do you boss that comes to our door we have an open door policy ideas we welcome because we know
