Kingsville Independent School District (KISD) announced today that the principal of HM King High School has been placed on administrative leave pending an ongoing investigation.
The Superintendent has appointed Dr. Joseph Welch, in the interim, as the acting principal to maintain leadership and daily operations beginning April 28, 2026. The school will continue to operate normally, and our priority remains providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
