Welcome to HM King High School!

Welcome! My name is Vanessa Rodriguez Brown, and I am proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at H.M. King High School.

I believe schools are at their best when students feel known, supported, challenged, and connected to the people around them. My work as an educator and campus leader is grounded in high expectations, strong relationships, and the belief that every student deserves meaningful opportunities to grow academically, personally, and in preparation for life beyond high school.

At H.M. King, I am fortunate to work alongside our students, families, teachers, and staff as we continue building a campus culture focused on achievement, belonging, engagement, and student success. I am especially passionate about helping students discover their strengths, develop confidence, and see the many possibilities available to them through college, career, military, and workforce pathways.

I am excited to be part of the Brahma community and look forward to partnering with our families throughout the school year.
