Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Monday, October 13, 2025

This week, we’d like to share four simple but powerful steps everyone can take to strengthen our cybersecurity posture and protect our school community:

  • Create Strong Passwords 🔑
Use unique passwords with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid reusing passwords across sites.
  • Stay Alert to Phishing Attempts 🎣
Always verify senders and be cautious with unexpected emails or messages.
  • Keep Software Updated 💻🔄
Regularly update your devices and applications to protect against vulnerabilities.
  • Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) 🛡️🔒
Add an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step when logging in.
