Student Lunch Accounts

Kingsville ISD has implemented “Lunch Money Now” an addition to the point-of-sale software provided by Systems Design of Corpus Christi, Texas. Systems Design specializes in food service management systems for school nutrition programs.

Lunch Money Now permits parents to access their student's cafeteria account via the Internet. Linked from Kingsville’s home page (http://www.kingsvilleisd.com), it provides the ability to view the student’s account balance, view/print the student's recent purchase history and make deposits to the child’s meal account using a debit/credit card. Parents are also able to subscribe for e-mail and text warnings when their child’s account dips below a specified level.

Deposits are recorded on a secure (SSL) site with extended validation. Extended Validation SSL Certificates, capable of up to 256-bit encryption, comply with the strongest identity authentication standard available today. Deposits are typically available on the student's account within 30 minutes of the transaction. Lunch Money Now allows deposits to multiple accounts with a single credit card transaction.

This service has been popular with students and parents alike because of its convenience. District employees like it because it saves time and reduces the need to handle cash. With the help of Lunch Money Now, Kingsville ISD is now ready to ‘serve’ you!
