Kingsville ISD is applying for the 2021-2022 Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant. This program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

Kingsville ISD will continue with remote learning for all students for the remainder of this week, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday January 13th, 14th & 15th respectively. IN-PERSON learning for those students who attend in person will return on Tue. Jan 19th.
Kingsville Independent School District will be accepting nominations from January 11 – January 22, 2021 for students in Kindergarten - Grade 11 for the 2021-2022 Gifted and Talented Program. Students nominated will be tested to determine qualification for the 2021-2022 Gifted and Talented Program. Please contact your child’s campus counselor for more information.

Inclement Weather Days- Remote Learning Date: 2/16/2021 Location: Due to Inclement Weather Forecast, KISD will implement full remote learning for all students on Monday, February 15th. and Tuesday February 16th. It is imperative that ALL students login for remote instruction on Feb. 15th. and 16th. Remote Attendance is required. Reminder that excessive absences result in failed classes and we need to all do our part to ensure our students attend remotely and succeed. Please email your teachers or principals for any questions about academic progress. |
