Discipline Plan Letter to Parents

Dear Parent:
In an effort to guarantee your child and all the students in our P.E. classroom a safe learning environment, we will be utilizing the following discipline plan effectively.
Philosophy
We believe all students can behave appropriately in our classroom. We will not tolerate students preventing our teaching and/or interfering with the learning of others.

Class Rules
1. Listen and follow directions.
2. Stay in your assigned spot while in the classroom.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Respect your classmates.

Violation of Rules
1st consequence: Verbal warning
2nd consequence: Name on Discipline Log/ 5 minutes in thinking spot
3rd consequence: Name with check /10 minutes in thinking Spot
4th consequence: Name with 2 checks / Phone call or note to parents
5th consequence: Parent Conference
Severe Disruption: Child is sent to office
Students who behave will earn verbal praise, stickers, and awards.

These rules will be enforced consistently. Please sign and have your child bring it to school tomorrow. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or write. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
